Ok my lovelies, it is time I come clean with you.

I am sorry.

I haven’t talked much lately. I haven’t made any plans lately. I haven’t sang lately.

It’s been a rough year – my leprechaun is leaving. My relationship of 7 years is ending and it’s stopped me in my tracks, mid-stride. It’s hard, when the love is there but other things get in the way. It would be easier if there was something to point the finger at, to lay blame, to hate. It’s hard when love is not enough. I never, ever thought I would say that.

So I’ve been putting so much on hold while I figure out my personal life. I have plans for a new recording, for coming to visit you and to sing for you. These things I will do. Once I can breathe freely again.

That is why I have been hiding, in my cave of solitude, pondering what next will come from my bag of tricks. I hope you can be patient with me. I cherish you greatly.

I have a question for you my Lovelies: writers block….anyone ever experience it?

Prolonged, debilitating, and crunchy. How did you handle it? What got you free of it?

I have been experiencing quite a dearth of it lately. A creative assignment for school has begun to creak the door open, very slowly. It felt good to pen some new stuff, and furthermore – I wrote using the piano, which is new for me. For years, I wrote using a guitar. I am learning to play the piano now and it is pretty darn awesome.

It makes me feel all musiciany! (It’s a word if I say so, I’m a poet and can make up words with reckless abandon if the mood strikes!).

So let me know if any of you have had this problem and what you did to resolve it.

Hello my lovelies,

It’s been a long time since we’ve talked. I’m so sorry – it is my fault. Since last summer, I’ve had some challenges to my health that have made me slow down. Last fall was, to say the least, very daunting.  But I’m coming back to health slowly.  And I have some great news.

Remember I told you about a chat I had with Witches and Pagans Magazine? It will be published, I’m told in their upcoming “Fire” issue. So fitting. Rising from the flames, as I am.

Hi lovelies,

We are having a great time here at Michigan Pagan Fest.  My show went fantastic last night, and Patrick, the sound engineer, recorded the show.  Hopefully, I’ll get some live tracks out of that.

Heading over today to do my colour workshop.  I miss you all!

I can not believe that it is only one week until Michigan Pagan Fest! (www.mipaganfest.org)

My show is next Friday, June 15th at 8pm.

I am also doing a workshop on Saturday at 2pm – I’ve been developing the connection between colour, numerology and sound, to create a personal meditation chant for each person, based on their choice of colours and numbers. I hope each person comes away with a personalized meditative chant.

It’s just a short drive from Southern Ontario, over the Windsor/Detroit border – we will be just outside Detroit, in Belleville Michigan. Directions can be found at the Michigan Pagan Fest website above.

I’ll also be (finally) selling copies of “The Changeling” – featuring “Fairy Queen” and “Tale of the Goblin King”.

I’ve missed you over the long winter – I hope to see you there!

Hello my fae lovelies,
So far I can report to you that I will be in person at Michigan Pagan Festival again this year! At the Wayne County Fairgrounds outside Belleville Michigan.

Well I think all the technical problems have been solved. My first online concert is set to go! What I think is great about this, is you can watch from your own home. You can invite friends over and have a party while watching – and you can chat with me and each other while watching the show. You don’t even have to get dressed! I won’t see you, but you can see me, so, of course I’ll be dressed!

When: Friday February 24, 2012 at 7pm
Where: At YOUR house!
How Much: Pay What You Can, with a suggested donation of $5
(you can pay more if you like throughout the show, by tipping the artist)

What will you need? A PayPal account and a Stageit.com account will be needed. The Stageit.com will allow you to log in and see the show from your computer – the PayPal account is a safe way to send money to Stageit.com. Stageit.com uses “notes” to pay for shows – 1 note = 10 cents. So 50 “notes” equals $5. The more notes you buy, the more you can tip!
